For Windows 10 21H1/20H2/20H1 feature updates, Microsoft released the optional update KB5003214 later this month. But now users are reporting that the optional update broke the taskbar's system tray, and other related issues have been reported.
The problem is reported to be concentrated in Windows 10 May 2020 (20H1) and later, and will occur after installing the optional update KB5003214. In addition, users reported that the notification center and the network icon stopped working after installing the optional update. Users have also reported that ICONS in the system tray move, disappear or hide randomly when the News and Interests task bar is turned on.
Another affected user wrote: 'Fixed the issue after uninstalling the update. Icons on the custom toolbar will also disappear. But if I hover the mouse over it, it will reappear.
