Samsung and Apple are competing to launch LG mobile phone replacement subsidies in South Korea to seize the South Korean market

Samsung Electronics Co. and Apple Inc. are racing to offer trade-in programs for LG smartphones, taking advantage of the company's exit.
Samsung Electronics is offering an old phone rebate and 150,000 won until June 30 to customers who buy the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G flagship models and return their LG phones Yuan) for the purchase of a new computer subsidy.

Apple will also offer customers who buy the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini an LG deduction and an additional subsidy of 150,000 won from that day until Sept 25. It's also worth noting that this is the first time Apple has offered a replacement subsidy for other companies' phones, and it's only available in South Korea.

According to industry analysts, the two companies are aiming to grab up to 10 percent of the market share left by LG's exit from the market on July 31.
