Disney announces AWS as streaming service

Walt Disney takes AWS as its preferred public cloud infrastructure provider to support the explosive growth of Disney + services. According to reports, after the service was launched in November 2019, it took only 16 months to break through 100 million users.
The AWS services used by Disney + cover more than 50 technologies, including machine learning, database, storage, content delivery, serverless and data analysis services, etc.
Disney + uses Amazon kinesis and Amazon dynamodb to ingest video content, metadata and billions of customer operations every day, so that viewers can add videos to their watch list, watch one video at the beginning and then watch it on another device, or recommend the content to watch next time. Disney + also uses Amazon timestream to monitor the effectiveness of its streaming media platform to ensure that users can continuously obtain the highest quality video content.
