Iris Energy, an Australian producer of bitcoin mining machines, plans to list in the US via SPAC

Iris Energy, a Bitcoin mining machine maker based in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a SPAC (special purpose acquisition company) listing, while considering a traditional listing in Australia. At present, the Australian Exchange has not approved the SPAC listing.

According to Bloomberg, Iris Energy has been approached by a number of U.S. -listed SPAC companies about a possible U.S. IPO, aiming to raise about $300 million to $500 million. Iris Energy is also considering a direct listing on the Australian Stock Exchange or Nasdaq in the United States.
