Samsung releases mid band 5g technology to double bandwidth to 400MHz

Samsung released a new broadband 5g technology on April 2, which greatly improves the communication bandwidth of 5g network and helps operators build a more cost-effective and flexible 5g network. The technology will increase the available bandwidth of the previous medium frequency band from 200MHz to 400MHz.

Samsung said that with the increase of bandwidth, operators can maximize the use of existing intermediate frequency signals, use less hardware to achieve the same effect, with higher efficiency. This technology can also help network operators to utilize the ability of discontinuous frequency bands, and also help solve the interference problem of sharing frequency bands between different operators.
Samsung's technology is expected to come out in early 2022 to help operators build 5g networks.
Dong Geun Lee, vice president of network business of Samsung Electronics, said, "we are very pleased to be able to develop this new solution, improve the efficiency of operators, and carry out as few hardware updates as possible to reduce costs. Through our industry-leading capabilities, we are happy to continue to provide innovative 5g solutions that bring benefits to operators and other customers. "
Samsung not only produces chips, mobile phones and other products, but also develops in wireless communication, RF chips, 5gvlan and other fields.
