Arm: the shortage of semiconductors will not be solved in the short term, or will continue until 2022

Zeng Zhiguang, President(总裁) of arm China Taiwan region, said today (31) that the shortage problem of semiconductor industry will not be solved in the short term, and it is estimated that it will not be alleviated until the first half of 2022 at the earliest.
Zeng Zhiguang believes that with the gradual mass production of vaccine supply, more and more people will be vaccinated. It is expected that more countries and cities will return to normal after July and September. When people return to offices and schools, there will be a new wave of it related demand. Therefore, the shortage of semiconductors can not be solved in a short period of time. It is estimated that it will not be alleviated until the first half of 2022 at the earliest.
Zeng Zhiguang added that when it gradually returns to the normal state, some demands may decrease. After all, people have already purchased related products first, but some new it demands will arise, and the demand orientation may be different. At that time, there may be oversupply of some products and shortage of some products.
