The startup acceleration will be temporarily disabled, and the new bug of Microsoft win10 edge causes the user to be unable to close the browser normally

Microsoft edge recently updated the "startup acceleration" feature, which enables browsers to start faster after windows 10 system restarts.
The startup acceleration function maximizes the performance of Microsoft edge on Windows 10 by starting some browser processes when the device is powered on. This allows the chromium browser to exist in a "ready state.".

In Microsoft's edge89 browser, startup acceleration is automatically enabled without user interaction. Microsoft claims that it can speed up startup time by 29% to 41%.
Unfortunately, after Microsoft automatically enabled startup acceleration, some users began to report performance problems, including closing the edge window, not exiting the browser, and restarting it again. It will continue to run in the background - you may never notice that unless you open Task Manager.

Microsoft is investigating edge performance issues
Fortunately, Microsoft is aware of these reports and is now pushing a server-side update that will temporarily disable startup acceleration.
"Hello, everyone, I want to tell you that we have decided to temporarily disable startup acceleration because it has brought some frustrating problems to some users," Microsoft said in its FAQ page update on March 19.
"Our team is working hard to fix several problems, some of which customers see messages about reopening tags when browsers reopen immediately after exiting and / or enable startup acceleration," Microsoft said in a statement.
Microsoft is also exploring other "potential solutions.". In the meantime, however, disabling startup acceleration is the best workaround.
