A foreign user, I_Leak_VN, recently posted a homemade miner that uses 10 Asus RTX 3090 graphics cards, all water-cooled.
The Nvidia RTX 3090 is one of the best graphics cards out there for mining, especially for ETH (Ethereum). The graphics card features 10,496 stream processors, 24GB of GDDR6X memory and more than 400W of full load power. The player installed custom split-type water-cooled radiators for all the graphics cards, and it can be seen that the water-cooled exhaust fan is the TT's new 14cm diameter steel shadow fan.
For power, three Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W power sources are used for a total power of 4800W. As the miner can operate normally only on the graphics card, which does not require a high CPU, it can be seen from the picture that the player only uses the original Intel radiator and the MSI B360-F Pro mining dedicated motherboard.
As can be seen from the screenshot, the temperature of 10 RTX 3090 graphics cards was all lower than 50℃ when the mining machine was fully loaded, and the lowest temperature was 41℃.
IT Home has learned that a Vietnamese player has also demonstrated an all-oil cooling miner. He used eight Asus ROG RTX graphics cards, but the exact model is unknown. The player doused the entire miner, except for the power supply, in mineral oil to ensure insulation. This approach, though relatively rare, provides adequate cooling capacity.
